Proper road bikes and a hardtail mountain bike, brought to your hotel in Protaras and collected when you are done. Our shop is ten minutes up the road in Paralimni, so this is our own doorstep rather than a delivery area on a map.

What you can ride from a Protaras hotel
Protaras is a better base for cycling than it looks from the brochure. You are a few minutes from open road in three directions, and the terrain immediately around the town is gentle enough that a first ride after a winter off is a pleasure rather than a reckoning.
- The coast road to Ayia Napa: the postcard ride, round the Cape Greco headland. Short, scenic and lovely at 07:00. Read how it rides before you go.
- The red-soil villages inland: Paralimni, Deryneia, Sotira, Liopetri, Avgorou. Quiet farm roads, short distances between cafes, and sheltered from the sea wind when the coast is unpleasant.
- Achna reservoir: far enough out to feel like a ride, close enough that turning for home is never a commitment.

The one thing worth knowing before your first morning: there is very little climbing here, so what decides whether a ride feels easy or grim is the wind off the sea. On an out-and-back, take the headwind first. And traffic drives on the left. The inland village roads are the forgiving place to get used to that. The bikes we deliver to Protaras
Road bikes for the coast and the villages, and a hardtail if you want a day on the Cape Greco tracks. Every bike is serviced between hires in our own workshop, and each frame size is booked as its own bike, so a size that shows as free is not already out with someone else.

We deliver to your hotel, which means the size you book is the size that turns up. Two measurements and we will tell you which frame to choose, and which of these bikes we hold it in.
Which frame size do I need?
Two measurements and we will tell you the frame size to book and which of our bikes we hold it in.
Worked out from your inseam × 0.665, the standard road-frame rule, measured centre-to-top. It is a starting point, not a bike fit: leg-to-torso ratio, flexibility and how you like to ride all move it. We check the fit at handover and adjust the bike before you leave with it.
We bring it to you
You do not need a car and you do not need to find us. Tell us the hotel and a time window when you book, and the bike is there: built, adjusted to your height and ready to ride. We come back for it at the end.

That is the price of the run, and it includes the first bike. Each extra bike on the same trip adds €5, so three bikes to one address, on one day, in one time window, is one van and one charge, not three. Split them across different days or different windows and it is a second van at the full price. It is charged once per hire, not per day.
We deliver to your hotel between 09:00 and 10:00, Monday to Saturday, and collect in the same hour on your last day. Prefer to collect it yourself? The shop is at 285 Protaras Avenue in Paralimni, about ten minutes up the road, it costs nothing, and any open day before 12:00 works.
Before you book
- Three days is the minimum hire. Most people here take a bike for the week.
- We are open Monday to Saturday, so a hire starts and ends on one of those days. You can ride straight through Sunday; it is only the handover that needs an open day.
- Pick your frame size when you book. Each size is a separate bike, so a size showing as free is there to book, rather than something to sort out on the day.
- A €100 refundable damage deposit is taken at handover and returned when the bike comes back.
- Bring your own pedals and shoes if you have them: fitting is free, and it is the cheapest way to make a hire bike feel like yours. If you would rather not travel with them, pedals are an add-on at the booking step.
