Description
The Attain is the bike most people ride here when the plan is easy kilometres in the sun rather than a race number. Aluminium frame, full carbon fork, and gearing low enough that the climbs inland from Paralimni stay pleasant on holiday legs.
This one is black with red details and a small frame, so it is the road bike to book for a smaller rider: a partner, a teenager, anyone who finds a medium frame a stretch. It is the entry point to road bike rental in Protaras and Ayia Napa, and an easy bike to get on with from the first kilometre.
Where it is happiest: the coastal loop out to Cape Greco, the flat run past Achna Dam, the morning spin along Fig Tree Bay before the traffic wakes up. It will get you up the Troodos climbs too, in its own time.
What comes with the bike
- Floor pump, a spare inner tube and tyre levers. They come back with the bike, and the tube is charged at €10 only if you use it.
- Free fitting of your own pedals. Bring your shoes and pedals, or hire a pair from us.
- Bottle cages are on the bike. Bottles, a saddle bag and a helmet are not supplied. A helmet and pedals can be added to the booking by the day.
- Delivery and collection to your hotel or apartment: Protaras €20, Ayia Napa €25, Larnaca €60. Prices are each way, per trip, not per day. The price covers the van and the first bike; each extra bike on the same trip adds €5. Or collect the bike from the shop for nothing, before 12:00.
Good to know
- Minimum rental is three days.
- Staying a week? 10% off the bike from 5 days. It comes off in the booking form on its own, with no code to enter. It applies to the bike, not to delivery or the extras.
- We are open Monday to Saturday. A hire starts and ends on an open day. Ride through Sunday if you like, but the bike is handed over and taken back Monday to Saturday.
- Book the size ahead. We hold one bike per frame size, and in season they go.
- Deliveries and pick-ups run 09:00–10:00 in Protaras and Ayia Napa, and 06:00–07:00 in Larnaca. Collecting from the shop, or dropping the bike back, is any open day before 12:00.
- A refundable damage deposit of €100 is taken when you collect the bike.
- No water bottle is supplied. Bring your own, and plenty of it in summer.
- The bike comes back clean, dry and working, with the pump, tube and levers that went out with it. A used tube is replaced at €10.
Compare it with the rest of the fleet on the bike rental page, or ride it with a guide who knows the roads on one of our guided cycling tours in Cyprus.
